We have a friend who has recently started a photography business and offered to take photos of our family. Her new website is Amy O’banion Photography. We met at Freedom Park in Scotia, NY and just let the kiddos run wild. After a few staged photos, she kept back and let us do our family thing. We brought a ball, bubbles, a jump rope, and of course, we were at a park. What more could a child need. After about 2 hours we, the parents, were exhausted, and it was time to leave. We are thankful for having such a wonderful friend who takes amazing photos. You should check out her site and see for yourself. Her photos are one of a kind!!
Today was a fun day in the woods geocaching. We had made this attempt a few times before and just got rained out and stuck in sticker bushes. Today we grabbed several caches and the kiddos and puppies had a great time. We were even able to grab some friends and introduce them to the fun world of geocaching!
This was another adventure in geocaching with the kiddos. As you can see from the photos, they were being extremely helpful with each other as usual. There is nothing better then getting away from all of the electronics and technology and going out into the woods!
While we were out and about we decided that we wanted to do a bit of geocaching so we swung by a little park called Driscoll Park. What a beautiful place. We quickly snagged the cache as we marveled in the beautiful nature surronding us.
This is one of the coolest parks ever!!!! Its a huge Castle with all kids of neat stuff to do in it. Not to mention there is a creek that runs along side of it and a trail you can walk down that leads you to a sweet little beach area where we played around, got muddy and skipped some rocks. Its a place the we have visited before but this is a new one to the boys. They absolutely loved it!! We all waded in the water some and got good and wet, but then the bugs decided to come out so we had to skedaddle…. Def a place i would send anyone with kids in the Ballston Spa area..
